Panelists' Profiles:
Sohila has been a Relationship Banker/Managing Director in business banking at CIBC Bank US since March of 2011. She specializes in working with small to mid-size companies with emphasis on high growth.
Credit requests are typically between $500K to $10MM with average loan of $1-$4MM.
Prior to joining CIBC Bank, Sohila works as a Sr. Relationship Banker/Vice President at Bank of America for 12 years.
She is a graduate of Iowa State University.
Jessica Oldani holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Business and Trade Law from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois, with LL.M coursework certificates in International Corporate and Finance Law and International Trade Law. Prior to founding Oldani Entrepreneurial Law, P.C., Ms. Oldani practiced international business and trade law at a boutique Chicago-based firm representing multinational business clients. Years prior, after graduating from Washington University in St. Louis, Ms. Oldani founded and ran her first business, a successful Chicago-area not-for-profit corporation. Ms. Oldani brings real-world operational and bottom-line intelligence to her practice, advising small-to-midmarket businesses on structuring and protecting domestic and international entities, relationships, and transactions. Ms. Oldani represents for-profit and not-for-profit clients in a wide range of industries, and serves as a knowledgeable and trusted advisor, not only for her clients, but also within the local business community. In addition to running her practice, Ms. Oldani serves on the City of Evanston Minority, Women, and Evanston Business Enterprise Development Committee, working to address community and small business development. Ms. Oldani is a member of the American Bar Association’s (“ABA’s) Section of Intellectual Property (“IP”) Law and of the ABA IP Law Section’s Copyright Legislation Committee. Ms. Oldani is a respected speaker on legal issues relevant to entrepreneurs and business leaders.
Joe Roznai joined MichaelSilver in 1992 and became a partner in 1998. Prior to joining MichaelSilver, he served as tax manager at a regional CPA firm, held consulting positions with a national CPA firm, and was the Tax Director for a publicly-held leasing company. Joe has over 25 years of federal, state and local tax planning, consulting, and compliance experience, working with entrepreneurial businesses across a wide range of industries, including manufacturers, printers, retailers, distributors, service providers, auto dealers, and lessors. Joe also has broad experience serving S corporations and partnerships/LLCs, as well as advising clients on U.S. and international income tax issues. He has expertise in:

- Local Tax Matters and Related Appeals
- Personal Property Taxes

Joe is an active member of the Illinois CPA Society and is currently a member of the Tax Advisory Group and the State and Local Tax Committee. He has been Chairman of the Tax Executive Committee and the State and Local Tax Committee and has been active in both Tax Committees for several years. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Joe received his Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Accountancy and Taxation from DePaul University in Chicago. Joe is very active in his local community and involved in various not-for-profit organizations, serving in various leadership capacities, including Treasurer and Committee Chairman. He has authored articles and been a frequent speaker and presenter on federal and state tax matters including income and sales taxes.
