This year marks the 50th anniversary of an event that changed our culture and redefined music. Originally billed in 1969 as An Aquarian Experience: 3 Days of Peace and Music, this festival was held August 15th, 16th, and 17th in Bethel, New York. It came to be known simply as Woodstock.
During this photo exhibition, we revisit some of the rare moments in pop culture while a Woodstock historian provides insight on the 3 day phenomenon during a private cocktail and hors d'oeuvres reception.
